RapidRing® is a new technology from CTRLink that provides redundancy for Ethernet networks. The CTRlink series of managed switches provides two types of redundancy options. RapidRing® Redundancy: Allows switched networks to be wired in a ring utilizing fiber or copper. Any break in the ring will be recovered in less than 300ms (with up to 20 switches). Relay contacts, flashing LEDs and SNMP traps help to quickly identify broken links. Supports dual ring structures. Download the info sheet for more information.
