New BASrouters Featured at AHR Expo

Most of you already are familiar with our popular BASrouter, which is the go-to solution for system integrators who need to mix BACnet network technologies within a single BACnet internetwork. We've used the strength of the BASrouter to develop two new models that address the complex security challenges facing system integrators today. Don't miss a preview of these exciting new products, the BASrouterSX that provides secure BACnet multi-network routing with SSL and Wireshark®, and the BASrouterSC that supports BACnet/SC. Visit us in Booth C5245 at AHR Expo to learn more.

NEW! BACnet/IP Network Security — BASrouterSX and BASrouterSX-GSA

BACnet multi-network routing with SSL and Wireshark Capture with optional GSA Compliance.

Although the BACnet MS/TP network is secure by nature, the BACnet/IP network could contain security weaknesses. The BASrouterSX can optimize BACnet/IP network security by utilizing an Allowlist. By configuring the Allowlist, only specific BACnet/IP devices can communicate to the BACnet internetwork.

In addition to its high-speed processor, the BASrouterSX has advanced features such as MS/TP Backbone, Backward Routing, Allowlist option for enhanced security, MS/TP slave proxy support (allowing auto-discovery of MS/TP slaves) and MS/TP frame capture and storage for use with Wireshark®. As a BACnet/IP Broadcast Management Device (BBMD), up to 50 BDT and 147 Foreign Device Registration (FDR) entries can be supported.

The BASrouterSX-GSA is a GSA-compliant model which has been tested and approved for use in U.S. government buildings.

NEW! BACnet/SC Integration — BASrouterSC

Bringing BACnet/SC to BACnet/IP and MS/TP Networks

Contemporary Controls' new BASrouterSC supports BACnet/SC as well as MS/TP, BACnet/Ethernet, and BACnet/IP devices. Designed with the same ease of configuration and operation as our popular BACnet routers, the BASrouterSC adds BACnet/SC to existing BACnet networks without the need for additional BACnet/SC equipment.
