CCSI Retains ISO 9001 Certification
Contemporary Control Systems has once again been notified by QAS International Ltd. (QAS) that our quality system has been audited and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
Contemporary Controls has been self-manufacturing since we began designing products in the 1970s. We have two manufacturing locations, one in Downers Grove, Illinois and the other in Suzhou, PRC. Both operations are ISO9001:2015 registered and are under Underwriters Laboratories (UL) surveillance.
Maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 certification provides our customers with confidence that our processes are in control and that as a supplier we can meet their quality needs. Contemporary Controls has a 49-year track record working with system integrators, contractors, and OEMs seeking reliable networking and control products from a dependable source.
In addition to self-manufacturing, Contemporary Controls sources complementary networking and control products for the convenience of our customers. The US operation has modern Panasonic multi-function, surface-mount technology (SMT) process lines that produce sophisticated, lead-free, high-density printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) that incorporate ball-grid-array (BGA) components. These PCBAs are then installed into their enclosures, tested and stored in their final packaging in an environmentally-controlled warehouse ready for worldwide shipment.
