Understanding BACnet Video Part 8: Compliance
March 2013 - "BACnet Compliance" is last video in our 8-part Understanding BACnet Series. The series is an overview intended for those who are encountering BACnet for the first time or those who simply wish to review basic BACnet concepts.
In the previous video we introduced the concept of BACnet Device Profiles which are used to classify BACnet devices. In this video we will learn ways of assuring that a commercial device is compliant to the BACnet standard via PICS, Plugfests and the BACnet Testing Laboratories.
