February 2017 - Contemporary Controls is proud to announce our win as the ControlTrends Awards "Vendor of the Year – Small Manufacturer" in addition to winning "Peripheral Product of the Year" and the "Best Technical Support Company – Small Manufacturer". Thank you to all that participated in the ControlTrends Awards and voted for us.
"The CTA Award for Vendor of the Year is a valued recognition of the quality of our products by the people who really matter - the system integrators who are depending on our products to get the job done," said George Thomas, President of Contemporary Controls. "It is also a recognition of the efforts of our employees who design, produce and support these products."
We shared the "Peripheral Product of the Year" award with our friends at Functional Devices. Our BASrouter has been a popular peripheral product for several years now and we’re excited to be unveiling several new security features for the BASrouter this year. "The BAS Router is extremely popular because it provides a low-cost solution for attaching a BACnet/IP network to BACnet MS/TP without the expense of installing a building controller," said Joe Stasiek, Sales Manager of Contemporary Controls.
The BAS Router provides stand-alone routing between BACnet networks such as BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, and BACnet MS/TP – thereby allowing the system integrator to mix BACnet network technologies within a single BACnet internetwork. Stay tuned for more news about the upgrades we have planned for the BASrouter.
"We’re also very proud of the recognition of our technical support team. We work hard to support our customers not just in their buying decisions, but in implementation and trouble-shooting in the field. We really believe that our customers success is our success," said George Thomas.
The ControlTrends Awards were created in June 2012 by Eric Stromquist and Ken Smyers as a way to recognize innovations and achievements in the HVAC, Controls, and Building Automation Industry. Contemporary Controls is grateful for the continued support and effort Ken and Eric have invested in this community-building event.
