BAScontrol-E36 Edge Controller Featured in AHR New Product Presentation

If you are going to the AHR Expo, be sure to attend our new product presentation, "36-Point Controller Combines Intuitive Programming with Supervisor Functionality" on Tuesday, February 11 at 2:45 p.m. in Theater D.

Bennet Levine, Contemporary Controls' Director of R&D, will present our new BAScontrol-E36, a 36-point edge controller that supports BACnet/IP and MS/TP client/server operation. It provides a mix of sixteen universal inputs, four binary inputs, eight analog outputs, and eight binary outputs. It has two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and one MS/TP port, and provisions for one digital wall setter port. The controller provides simple-to-use component-based programming along with edge features, such as seven-day schedules, weather access, cloud connectivity, emailing alarms, and multiple dashboards.

The BAScontrol-E36 has the necessary computing power and input/output (I/O) point count to execute recommended advanced sequences published in ASHRAE Guideline 36-2018 High-Performance Sequences of Operation for HVAC Systems (GL-36).

The device is fully web page-configurable and freely programmable using Sedona's drag-and-drop pro-gramming methodology. It can be programmed using the Sedona Application Editor (SAE) in Contemporary Controls' free BAScontrol Toolset. A free Sedona N4 driver is also available for programming via N4 Workbench. Rugged design, low profile, and wide temperature operation make it suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Be sure to stop by Booth 661 in the West Building to learn more about the BAScontrol-E36 and our other new products, such as the EnOcean and Modbus to BACnet Gateways, and the BASrouterSX BACnet Router with SSL.
