Don't Miss Contemporary Controls at 2026 AHR Expo
We're looking forward to the 2026 AHR Expo, February 2-4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Be sure to visit Booth C843 in the Central Hall for a preview of our new EIMK-T1L SPE Media Converter (as defined by the IEEE 802.3cg standard) that enables long-distance IP communication over single-pair cabling.
We'll be exhibiting our BASautomation line of BACnet-compliant products, including our BACnet routers, controllers, communicating thermostats, Modbus to BACnet gateway, and supervisory graphical interface.
- BASrouters are multi-network routers used to route messages between BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, and BACnet MS/TP networks.
- Open controllers address unitary control and Edge control. They feature BACnet communications protocol and Sedona license-free function block programming. Each series is freely programmable using our free BAScontrol Toolset over an Ethernet connection. Pre-built application programs for common HVAC applications are also available at no-cost.
- Gateways integrate Modbus or EnOcean devices to BACnet systems. Suitable for retrofits and newly constructed buildings, they offer a cost‑effective solution for achieving BACnet compliance.
We'll also be showcasing our networking and building automation solutions with built-in cybersecurity features, such as secure communication and remote access, and real-time network diagnostics. Our cybersecure product solutions include:
- BACnet routers and gateways that support HTTPS, and IP routers that support a range of secure remote access methods, including IP routing, port forwarding, BBMD functionality, and VPN implementation.
- Skorpion IP routers support OpenVPN® client functionality to deliver flexible and secure VPN options that safeguard systems and ensure continuous operation.
Once at the AHR Expo, be sure you attend our Director of R&D, Bennet Levine's presentation "Supercharge Your Cabling" on Wednesday, February 4 at 11:45 a.m. in Theater C.
Bennet will discuss 10BASE-T1L (T1L) Ethernet (IEEE 802.3cg standard) that enables long-distance IP communication over single-pair cabling. He will introduce Contemporary Controls' EIMK-T1L media converter that complies with IEEE 802.3cg to provide a versatile solution for bridging Ethernet and T1L networks.
