At AHR Expo 2019 in Atlanta, Contemporary Controls' President, George Thomas, will be on the panel of industry leaders participating in an education session titled, "The 7th Annual Connection Community Collaboratory".
Mr Thomas' panel will be held on January 15 from 1:30 – 2:30 in B311. The topic will be "Exploring Our Human Connection" and the panel will be moderated by Ken Sinclair of Automated Buildings. The session will be of interest to manufacturers, building owners, engineers, system integrators and HVAC contractors. Panel members will discuss current industry topics such as IoT, edge devices, edge processing and the impact of IoT micro-controllers.
Mr. Sinclair is an experienced moderator and anticipates a highly interactive discussion. After last year's Collaboratory, Mr. Sinclair said, "In the past, our sessions have primarily focused on software, analytics, and protocols. For the first time ever, hardware entered the conversation with the likes of Raspberry Pi's, Beagle boards, Amazon Echos, and Hey Google's; a very interesting transition, which led to some extremely interesting discussions."
