BASview3 Continues to Receive Industry Recognition

The BASview3 continues to receive industry recognition for providing fast, easy building supervision with BACnet/IP client functionality and control. We are pleased to announce that the BASview3 is a BCIA Awards Finalist for Technical Innovation of the Year—Products. The BCIA Awards, held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole in the U.K., recognize the latest innovations and product developments in the controls and BEMS industry.

Besides BACnet MS/TP and Modbus to BACnet integration, the BASview3 provides head-end capabilities such as alarming, trending, scheduling, and graphics. An intuitive HTML5 graphical interface and licence-free model make it ideal for small to mid-size buildings.

The BASview3 is an intuitive and easy to use stand-alone, web-based graphical interface for building automation and process automation systems. It can be accessed from any web browser—providing supervisory functionality to any BACnet/IP or Modbus TCP system, making it idea for small to mid-size buildings or processes that require a simple-to-use graphical interface with no licensing requirements.

The BASview3 is simple to install and use. 24VAC/VDC power input and DIN rail mounted metal enclosure make it easy to install in cabinets. A 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection is all that is needed for communication. Client features for BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP systems include animated graphic screens, dashboards, scheduling - with time maintained on power loss thanks to its capacitor-backed real time clock, historical trending, runtime accumulation, alarm monitoring, and email notifications. Custom graphics, like floor plans, can be uploaded to create a complete and functional graphic of a building system. Graphics can be used for monitoring and/or control of any BACnet or Modbus system.

The BASview3 is totally self-contained, requiring no external PC or software application for its use. Multiple, simultaneous web browser users can access the device securely.
